Background

Energy-focused psychological consultancy IntrospeXion has signed a contract with a major UAE-based energy operator to deliver a company-wide mental health and wellbeing programme covering employees across onshore, remote and offshore sites.

The employer engaged IntrospeXion to design and implement the psychological well-being program in line with the overall change within workplace health and safety, focusing on mental well-being along with physical safety. IntrospeXion’s team of psychologists will work closely with senior leaders to build a strategy suited to the demands of the energy sector, aiming to strengthen psychological health, leadership capability and workforce resilience across the operator’s UAE operations.

The programme will cover psychological profiling, executive coaching, workplace mental health strategy, psychological risk assessment, wellbeing workshops, confidential employee support, critical incident response and specialist consultancy. Support will be tailored to both office-based staff and field personnel, to improve performance, reduce psychological risk, prevent burnout and build a resilient workforce.

IntrospeXion’s founder and CEO said the energy sector has long prioritised physical safety and is now extending that same strategic focus to psychological safety and wellbeing. She added that supporting mental health goes beyond preventing illness, since it also helps individuals, leaders and organisations perform at their best, describing the programme as an evidence-based effort to build resilience and create lasting value for workforces across the UAE.
