Background
Exhibo has launched a discovery platform bringing together more than 300 galleries, museums and cultural institutions across eleven cities in the Middle East and North Africa into one searchable platform.
Built as a global discovery platform, Exhibo already includes major international art capitals such as London, New York, Paris and Berlin, with plans to keep expanding across new cities and content areas.
Finding exhibitions, galleries and institutions across the region has traditionally meant piecing together information from scattered sources, including websites, social media accounts and local recommendations that rarely align.
Exhibo solves this by linking institutions, artists, exhibitions, curators and locations into a single cultural network, letting users search by artist, exhibition, institution, curator or location and explore entire cultural ecosystems rather than isolated venues.
Every institution on the platform connects to its current exhibitions, represented artists, curators and editorial content. Galleries and museums can also publish exhibitions and institutional announcements through a dedicated press room, boosting visibility among collectors, journalists and visitors.
Alena Belova, Co-Founder of Exhibo, said the art world already had the galleries, museums, artists and exhibitions in place. What it lacked, she said, was a single place to find, understand and explore all of it, which is exactly what Exhibo set out to build.
Sergey Rabusov, Co-Founder of Exhibo, said reliable cultural information should not require local contacts or hours of searching, adding that Exhibo gives collectors, journalists, curators and travelers one clear starting point.
Alena Belova and Sergey Rabusov, who also founded the London digital agency BARS, launched Exhibo as a platform combining institutional profiles, exhibition listings, editorial content and press distribution tools. The platform is now available at exhibo.art.
