Background

The Fluor Corporation, known as one of the foremost suppliers of engineering, procurement, construction, and maintenance services, has been chosen by Aramco, Saudi Arabia’s top oil company, as the program management consultancy contractor on a long-term contract basis.

The agreement will allow efficient deployment of Fluor’s global expertise, local workforce and digital project delivery capabilities.

Fluor has maintained a presence in Saudi Arabia since the 1940s, supporting the country’s growth and development from its office in Al Khobar. With more than 80 years of legacy in the Kingdom, the company has supported Aramco across some of its most significant facilities and infrastructure programmes.

The company said the agreement reinforced its long-standing relationship with Aramco and its continued role in delivering complex energy and industrial projects at scale.

Pierre Bechelany, Fluor’s business group president of energy solutions, said the company was honoured to be selected by Aramco for the strategic long-term agreement, which supports the client’s objectives around energy security, operational efficiency and sustainable growth. He added that the award reflected Fluor’s proven record in program management excellence, capital discipline and safe execution, along with its deep understanding of Aramco’s project delivery requirements.

The agreement covers future opportunities across pre-FEED, FEED, engineering, project management, procurement oversight, construction management and program execution services, spanning upstream, downstream, petrochemical and infrastructure developments.
