In his new role, Deng will lead Huawei’s regional cybersecurity and privacy strategy, covering areas such as data protection, AI security and privacy compliance. Deng brings more than 18 years of experience at Huawei and has held several international leadership positions within the company. Before this appointment, he served as Chief Cybersecurity and Privacy Officer at Huawei’s Digital Power Business Unit headquarters. He also worked in cybersecurity and solutions sales roles in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands, along with earlier positions in research and development.
