Background-
Fujifilm Middle East has put its office printing and production printing units under one leadership team. The company wants faster growth across the region and sees the merger as a way to serve customers better.
Sabarish Ramanunni, division manager for Business Innovation, now runs the combined unit. His team handles the Apeos Series of multifunction printers and the Revoria Press range of digital production presses.
The two units still serve different buyers. Banks, schools and hospitals use office printing to manage documents securely. Commercial printers and in-house print shops use production presses to work faster and try new creative jobs. Fujifilm expects one leader to sharpen regional expertise and give partners quicker, more focused help.
Ramanunni said both units want the same result, which is companies that get more value from every printing dollar. He said the merger keeps the specialist support that each customer group needs.
Apeos printers come with user login checks, encrypted document handling and secure print release. Organizations can protect sensitive files and keep staff productive. Fujifilm has now brought the series to Oman and Egypt, on top of its base in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
The Revoria Press range covers the SC285, EC2100 and PC2120. Some models print in gold, silver, white, clear and pink, and the PC2120 adds green toner for a wider color range. Automation and smart image adjustment keep quality steady and cut manual work and time for print providers.
