Background-
Ocorian has appointed Souvik Sen as Commercial Director, Middle East, Private Clients, based in DIFC, Dubai. Sen will report to Nina Auchoybur, Managing Director, UAE.
In his new role, Sen will lead commercial growth for Ocorian’s Private Client business across the Middle East. He will draw on his experience in capital raising and asset management to strengthen client relationships and support the expansion of the firm’s private wealth offering in the region.
Sen brings extensive experience across the financial services industry, having built his career across corporate banking, priority banking, asset management and private equity. He has focused throughout his career on capital raising, working closely with regional and international investors across the private wealth landscape. He played a key role in raising capital for MENA’s first-ever SPAC deal.
Sen said the Middle East continues to stand out as one of the world’s most dynamic wealth markets, adding that Ocorian is well positioned to support the evolving needs of private clients, family offices and investors. He said he looks forward to contributing to the firm’s continued growth across the region.
Auchoybur welcomed Sen to Ocorian, noting that he brings a strong network across the region along with extensive experience working with ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, private banks and investors.
She said his commercial expertise and understanding of clients’ cross-border structuring, governance and succession needs will play an important role in strengthening the firm’s relationships and expanding its Private Client business across the Middle East.
