Background

Comera Pay, the digital payments unit of Comera Financial Holdings, has launched a new digital payment solution in the United Arab Emirates in partnership with Arab Financial Services (AFS). The company wants to help businesses across the country use modern and secure payment methods.

The new solution serves businesses of all sizes, from small shops to large enterprises. It lets merchants accept payments with chip and PIN cards, contactless cards, mobile wallets, online payment gateways, and QR codes. The system also gives real-time transaction updates, daily settlement summaries, and easy reconciliation to help businesses run smoothly.

Comera Pay said the launch strengthens its goal of making financial services simpler through technology. The company is already active in digital wallets and remittance services and is now expanding into merchant payments to improve how businesses collect payments and serve customers.

Akhtar Saeed Hashmi, Managing Director and Group CEO of Comera Financial Holdings, said the launch marks a key step in building a connected financial ecosystem. He added that the payment solution focuses on speed, ease of use, and strong security to meet the needs of today’s digital businesses.

AFS brings strong payment infrastructure and regulatory expertise to the partnership. With long experience in merchant acquiring and digital payments across the MENA region, AFS supports the system with reliable and compliant technology.

Samer Soliman, CEO of AFS, said the partnership combines Comera Pay’s innovative approach with AFS’s regional scale, giving businesses better and faster payment services.

The launch is part of a wider plan to offer more financial services, including SME lending, supply chain finance, and added merchant tools. Comera Pay said future updates will include loyalty programs, merchant credit options, and full business support within one digital platform.
